Welcome to my world of photography prints and NFTs!
As a photographer, painter and digital artist, I've always been captivated by the power of images to tell stories and evoke emotions. And since 2021, with the rise of NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens), I've been excited to explore a new way of sharing my self portrait work with the world.
So far I have successfully sold all of the prints you can see in my printshop as NFTs. In fact I only release a very limited edition print once the NFT is sold, and the first goes to the collector of the NFT.
NFTs are digital tokens that are unique and verifiable, providing a secure way to establish ownership and provenance of digital assets. This means that with NFTs, I can provide a secure and transparent way for collectors to own and display my photographs, while also ensuring that the value of each piece is accurately tracked and maintained over time.
One of the key benefits of NFTs is their ability to eliminate the need for middlemen in the buying and selling process. With traditional art sales, there are often multiple intermediaries involved, each taking a cut of the transaction. With NFTs, these intermediaries can be bypassed entirely, reducing costs and creating a more efficient and streamlined marketplace.
Another exciting possibility with NFTs is the potential for new types of interactions between collectors and artists. For example, I could offer exclusive access to certain images or provide special benefits to those who hold my NFTs. This creates a more dynamic and interactive relationship between artist and collector, one that can evolve over time.
Overall, I believe that NFTs have a huge future in the art world, offering a secure and transparent way to own and display digital assets as well purchase physical ones and track their provenance. I'm excited to be a part of this movement, bringing my photography and art to a wider audience through this innovative technology.
